Prayers for the youth and marriages – 7 Jan 2009

What will our generation be known for? What will the generations to come be known for? Father, every single human being has been given a reason for living. We pray right now that every youth will be able to find that reason. Lord, in You we find completeness, fullness of life, and satisfaction. Where we have been blind, foolish, stubborn, arrogant, soft, and unwilling to change, we ask for forgiveness. Father, right now we ask that You would mould the minds of our youth. Be their author and definer. The world tries to define our youth, stereotyping them and judging them. However, we pray that the Lord Jesus Christ be established as their foundation. Lord, there are many marriages that are founded on false love, false emotions, and reasons that are based on circumstances. Today, we pray that restoration, healing, and forgiveness can take place. Father, we pray that restoration can take place between parents and children who have walked into marriage without their parents blessings. Let us arise, let us move forward, and forget about the past. However, in order to move forward the only way is to let God heal the past and heal relationships. Today, let us take action to make a difference in the lives of our children, or our parents. What will your children remember you for? In Jesus name we pray for healing to take place right now. Amen.
