Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 2 Feb 2009

Bridging the gap In this new series titled, bridging the gap. I believe that God is going to propel us into action. There is no point being a “perfect” Christian if we are not doing something that bridges the gap. In this world there are many gaps that separate us from God. In this lifetime we have the ability to make a difference and God wants to use us. In the future, we are 100% guaranteed to face many gaps and many holes that separate us from God. But are we going to be the bridge? Today, God is challenging each one of us to be that bridge in people’s lives that they may know what a personal relationship with God is like. It is not about forcing people to be Christians. It is not about how many get “saved” and go to church. It is all about being a bridge in people’s lives so that they can have a personal and real relationship with God. Isaiah 59:1-2 Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. These verses are the foundation of this new series.
