Praying For New Zealand and for the poor – 27 Feb 2009 1 Chronicles 16:10 Glory is His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

Lord we thank you for the nation of New Zealand. It is evident and clear that this nation is going to be used by You Lord. Without a doubt Your people are gifted, talented, and creative. However, there seems to be a stumbling block that has prolonged this nation’s spiritual development. Today, in the name of Jesus we pray that You would revive this nation. Awaken dry bones O God. We pray against compromise, laziness, lack of motivation, and desire. We pray that You would instill passion, zeal, perseverance, and boldness. Thank you for every child right now. We pray for the youth. Use them, anoint them, and may they be grounded in the Word of God. Thank you for the amazing plans that You have in store. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

We pray for the poor O Lord. Thank you for their lives, for their existence, and meaning in life. Lord, no matter what there will always be the poor. But Your command stands firm. Deut 15:11 There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land. Help us Father. Help us not to take for granted the lives that You have given to us. You have blessed us richly. But today, we pray that You would give us the opportunity to bless the poor and needy. Lord, we pray that Your glory and power would shine right now. Guide us, and help us listen to You. We walk in obedience today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
