Praying For Nepal and for the poor – 24 Feb 2009 Psalm 132:14-16 This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it-I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor will I satisfy with food. I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints will ever sing for joy.

Lord, we thank you right now for the nation of Nepal. Though it may be one of the poorest nations in this world, You have a purpose and reason for this nation. Today, we pray that Your sons and daughters would claim their destiny and purpose. Lord, we pray that You would use this nation. Use this nation in ways that will humble the greatest of nations in “human” standards. Father, we pray for the youth of Nepal. We thank you for their lives. We pray that they would find their value and worth in You and not in anything else. Lord, we pray that You would protect them from the hands of those that abuse, exploit, and persecute. Father, we pray for the current leadership of this Nation. Lord, remove those that are corrupted. Instill justice and righteousness right now. We pray for every missionary called to this nation. Give them hope, courage, and boldness. Remember Caleb and Joshua. Many give up, but only a few will stand strong and not waver. Do not give up! In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

We pray for the poor right now. God we pray that You would equip every NGO every charity organization with the right people. We pray that they would be grounded and centered in the will of God. Father, we pray against people who abuse power. We pray against the hands of the enemy who abuse women and children. Lord, today we pray for hope. We pray for greater faith and trust in You. Today, we pray that You would raise up mighty shepherds who will lead your people to freedom. Freedom defined by You and not man. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
