Praying For The Nauru and for the poor – 23 Feb 2009 Psalm 56:3-4 When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

Father, we pray for the nation of Nauru today. We thank you for this beautiful island nation that You have created. Lord, we pray today that Your children would hold strongly and firmly to their identity in Christ. It is easy to give up on God, especially through difficult times. Father, we pray against this right now. We pray that Your children of Nauru would only strengthen their relationship with You, through the current situation. Father, we pray for unity. We pray that sons and daughters would not venture as lone-rangers. We pray that collectively they would unite, because of Christ that lives that lives in them. As Your Holy Word says, when two or more are gathered, the Lord is with us. In the name of Jesus, we pray that You would be in the centre of this nation. We thank you in advance. Lord, we praise and lift Your name on high always. As we continue to pray and believe for miracles to take place for the lives of the poor, we know that we are nothing without You. As the seconds tick, millions are being pushed to the verge of death. How sad it is that many do not even get the opportunity to know who You are Lord. We pray that You would send angels. Send your showers of blessings and healing that would wash away the sins of the world. Father, how beautiful it would be for the day that the Lord would shine on every nation rich and poor. We pray for more sons and daughters willing to give their lives to You. Bless the poor today. Help them see and know who You are. Thank You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
