Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 17 Feb 2009

Bridging the gap – Mission driven I hope that we would begin to open our eyes right now. There are many missionaries who are doing amazing things for God. They are standing in the gap. They are being used as bridges so that many can come to know the Lord. However, there aren’t enough of us praying for them. There aren’t enough of us financially supporting their work. Furthermore, there are those of us who take a back seat and to be honest with you, many don’t really care. Today’s words of encouragement are about being men and women who are mission driven. Some are called to a specific nation. Some are called to plant seeds in many nations. For some of us our mission field is our own nation. No matter what, we must remain mission driven. Praying for missionaries, declaring the will of God in every nation, and believing that God’s purposes will be fulfilled. Let us take a leap of faith today. To be used, to be sent out, to stand in the gap, and to bridge the many obstacles that hinders God’s name to be proclaimed.
