Prayers for the youth and marriages – 25 Feb 2009 2 Samuel 22:29 You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light

Father, we pray that You would continue to light the path and direct the steps of our youth. We pray that their lives would be transformed today because of You. We cannot runaway from the fact that sin leads to destruction. Today, we pray that our Youths would guard their hearts against the work of the enemy. Lord, we pray that You would open our eyes that we may be able to recognize satan’s craft. Father, we pray that our youths would recognize that You knew them before they were born. You have a reason for their existence. Shake them Father. Shake us all Father. There are many that have absolutely no sense of direction and meaning in life. Lord, let today be a mark in our life. We will wait no longer. We turn our eyes to You. We surrender everything to You. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Father, we cry out to You today. We cry out to you today, not because the world thinks that we are weak, useless, and helpless. We cry out to you today, because we know that we are absolutely nothing without You. We know that we cannot love our spouse without You. We know that You are the root and foundation of our marriage. Today, we pray that every marriage would be centered on You Father. We pray that we would give up our selfishness. Open our eyes today, that we may break off the chains that hold us back from pouring our love out towards our marriage. Break the chains of pride, arrogance, and the inability to be vulnerable. How precious it is to be Your son or daughter that is lead and directed by You. We pray that every marriage would be directed by You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
