Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 16 Feb 2009

Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 16 Feb 2009

Psalm 132:14-16 This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it-I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor will I satisfy with food. I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints will ever sing for joy.

Mongolia

Father, we pray for the nation of Mongolia right now. Lord, we pray that a new generation of leaders would be birthed from this nation. Lord, we pray that they would be established and grounded in Your righteousness. We pray that a birthing of vision would occur right now. Open their eyes that they may see the amazing things that will happen in this nation. However, it takes ownership and faith to believe.

We pray that this nation would begin to take action. Instead of relying on others, we pray that a greater sense of purpose would be planted.

We pray for the youth. We pray for families. Lord, many children have been left abandoned. Many have been brought into this world out of impure circumstances. However, You are the God of restoration. You are the God that defines love. Right now we pray that healing and restoration can take place.

Lord, we pray for every single missionary right now in this nation. Protect them Father. Send your angels to guard them. We pray that they would walk with Your favour and blessings. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Father, may Your glory and power shine always. We pray for every poor nation right now. We pray that the Lord’s hand of provision would never be too short.

Lord, I am reminded of Your sons and daughters who took You for granted as they were set free from slavery. Yet, they grumbled, complained, and demanded so much from you.

Today, we pray that the poor and needy would never take You for granted. We pray that they would begin to realize their worth in You.

Father, we pray that the poor would begin to see visions. We pray that they would be able to overcome the many obstacles in their way. Father, we pray that You would open doors in their lives so that they can be set free from poverty.

Lord, we pray for peace. We pray for joy. We pray that the Lord’s name will be exalted on high. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
