Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 8 Feb 2009 Psalm 56:3-4 When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

#123 Mali Lord, we thank you for the shaking that is taking place right now in the continent of Africa. It is evident and clear that every African nation is going to be used in this generation to transform the world. Today, we pray for Mali. Today, we pray that the world would recognize that You are our Lord and savior through this nation. We lift up every single person from this nation. From the greatest to the weakest. From the richest to the poorest. Lord, it does not matter, we are all Yours. Today, we pray that the Word of God would unify this nation. Lord, we pray that Your grace and mercy would fall down on this nation. We pray that families would be blessed. We pray that this nations foundations would be built on Your solid pillars. Lord, thank you so much for giving us life, breath, food, sight, and the ability to walk. There is so much in life to be thankful for and yet each day we can take You for granted. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would touch our hearts and place a strong sense of burden and responsibility to do something, to make a difference in the lives of those who are poor, in need, but most of all need You the most. It is amazing how selfish this world is. Lord, at this moment humble our hearts. Forgive our pride and selfishness. Help us to have hearts that care about others. God today, we lift up our hands to You. We surrender our lives as living sacrifices to do Your will and Yours alone. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
