Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 10 Feb 2009 Psalm 132:14-16 This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it-I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor will I satisfy with food. I will clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints will ever sing for joy.

#125 Mauritania Lord, as we focus our prayers for this nation, we thank you for the evidence and proof that Your love for this nation is at the foundation and core of this nation. We pray for all your children right now. From old to young, we pray that they would begin to realize the importance in building their relationship with You. Father, we thank you for the current chaos that is taking place in this nation. We pray that through this chaos, the Lord Jesus Christ would come in and sweep through every broken foundation, so that this nation can rebuild its foundations. Grounded in You. We pray for every single suffering person right now Lord. WE pray that You would bless the hands right now of every poor person. We pray that we would be challenged by You Lord, to not grow comfortable with the comfort of life. Proverbs 10:4 Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth. Father, in this lifetime there are many would are wealthy and many that have more than they need. However, we do nothing. We pray right now that we would be challenged to provide for the poor. Proverbs 14:31 He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God. Lord, thank You for what is about to take place. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
