Prayers for the youth and marriages – 27 Feb 2009 2 Samuel 22:29 You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light

Lord, we thank you right now for every life. We pray that we would be able to love every child the way that You have created them. Father, we pray that parents would never show partiality. Every child has been made uniquely. Give us all the ability to call out the destiny of our children. Lord, you are going to use every single child. The enemy knows this. However, we pray that You would render the enemy powerless. Father, we pray that strong foundations would be instilled. We pray that our children would be grounded in the word of God. We pray that they would be known as prayer warriors. We pray that they would stop relying on their own strength and begin to rely on You. Finally, we pray that our children would grow their relationship with You. We pray that they would never let You go. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Father, we pray right now that Your light and love would shine upon every marriage. We pray that couples would recognize the importance in building each other up versus tearing each other down. It is easy to focus on the negative. Not many encourage. Today, we pray that couples would develop great habits in encourage, pulling each other up, and working together as a team. Lord, we pray that husbands would learn to take the lead. Help them lead with grace and boldness. We pray that they would lead with You at the center. Father, You have great and mighty plans for every marriage. Today, we pray that they would regain strength. Give us the perseverance to work on our marriage. We pray against the spirit of giving up. Help us Father. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
