Prayers for the youth and marriages – 16 Feb 2009 Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Father, we pray for the gift of humility. We pray for the gift of correction. We pray for teachable hearts. Hearts that are willing to be sharpened. We pray for mentors who walk in the same gifts. We pray against parents who walk in arrogance, pride, and strife. We pray for parents who lead by example. We pray that through their submission to You Father; our youths will be able to be examples of Christ as well. Lord, we pray that this world will be a different place because of You. Because of what You are going to do though our children. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Father, right now we pray against couples who are blinded by their own foolishness. We pray that You would remove the scales in our eyes. We pray that couples would seek wise counsel in areas where they need You the most. We pray for wisdom Father. We pray that through Your wisdom, we will be able to strengthen our marriage. Father, there are many people out there willing to offer free advice. We pray that You would give us the wisdom to discern what if from You and what is not. In Your glory and in Your power, we pray that every marriage would be sharpened today. In Jesus name, amen.
