Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 24 Feb 2009

Absolutely non-negotiable – your destiny Our destiny is precious. God made us specifically for a purpose to be fulfilled before our time on earth is up. There is no better way of putting this: our destiny is an absolute non-negotiable. Today’s encouragement is to be completely satisfied, content, and passionate for how God has made you. Stop fighting God. I believe that God gives us clear signs to allow us to recognise if we are doing exactly what God wants us to do. I also believe that God clearly gives us signs to know if we are doing exactly what He does not want us to do. What are some signs that clearly tell you that you are doing exactly what God wants? Firstly, you have joy everyday to do what you do. Secondly, you are passionate. Thirdly, you know that what you are doing right now is making an impact for the Kingdom of God. Stop fighting God. He knows what is best! We can be the richest people on earth, but if we are not living our destiny, we will feel empty. To be honest with you, there are many rich and empty people on this earth. But there are also many poor and empty people as well. Is it possible to be content and have a fulfilled life? We can’t live other people’s dreams. God made you you, so just be you. Our destiny is unique, I cannot be Warren Buffet. No matter how hard I try, I will fail. Today, I pray that we would come to a point in our lives when we will give up chasing after false dreams. Our destiny is an absolute non-negotiable. Would we be willing to give up our lives for it? More importantly, would you give up your whole life for God?
