Bridging the gap – Divorce Everywhere we turn; it is possible to find a marriage that has fallen apart, falling apart, and about to fall apart. I cannot emphasise how heart broken and frustrated I get when couples divorce. Today, God is calling us to bridge the gap. How can we bridge the gap? There are many ways that we can bridge the gap. If we are willing to listen to God, everything becomes clearer. Many of us are walking in strong marriages, why? Because God is at the centre and couples are constantly in communication. You are of value! God is calling you to be an example. Not to force people to be like you, but to inspire other couples to work on their relationship with God, this in turn will strengthen their marriage. Children are often subjected to the most amount of internal torture because of divorced parents. They grow up never seeing what a healthy family is like. They learn that giving up on love is part of life. They often grow up to be bitter people. However, God is our restorer. Those who have been restored by God from divorced parents, you are of value. I pray that you would be inspired right now to be used by God to heal children from the trauma.
