Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 4 Feb 2009

Bridging the gap – between generations Ezekiel 22:30 I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none. Be that bridge that connects the different generations. Honestly, I believe that God has called us to be bridges that connect the many different generations. It saddens my heart when I see parents giving up on their children because of the generational gap. However, it also saddens my heart when I see children giving up on their parents, showing bad attitude because of the generational gap. Today, God wants us ALL to be that bridge. I believe that right now God is going to speak directly to us. Whether it is to adjust our lifestyles, adapt to the older/younger generation, or to sacrifice our own interest, God is going to tell us exactly what we need to do. I pray that we would obey God.
