Bridging the gap – the lost sheep As we begin this new series on bridging the gap. It is vital and important how we view the lost. If we are not being used as bridges then are we not listening to God? Are we being disobedient? It is important that we don’t force the Bible down people’s throats and we learn to be relatable. If we are not careful and wise, we could deter people from knowing what a real relationship with God is like. However, doing nothing to me is far worst in my opinion. Standing in the gap allows the lost to find their way back home. Matthew 18:12-13 What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. God is happier about that one sheep that was found then the ninety-nine that never wandered off. Today, I hope that we can be that bridge in people’s lives. Especially to those that are lost in this world. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen. www.everynation.org.sg archive: www.shauntzen.blogspot.com |
