Bridging the gap – corruption As we continue to stand in the gap let us pray that the gaps in life will continue to grow smaller and smaller. Gaps in life separate us from God. It is vital that we stand in the gap for what is righteous. We all know that to stand for righteousness is harder than to stand for what is unrighteous. That is why, only a few ever are used by God to stand in the gap. Corruption stems from everything that is evil. Proverbs 19:28 A corrupt witness mocks at justice, and the mouth of the wicked gulps down evil. Majority of the world functions on corruption. In my opinion this says a lot about a nation’s culture, family values, and upbringing. We have the ability to stand in the gap today, so that the blessings from the Lord can be poured out. I believe that God never withholds His blessings to those that are righteous. Are we going to be the few that are chosen to stand in the gap by God because of righteousness, because of our convictions, and because we place God higher than everything on this earth?
