Prayers for the youth and marriages – 11 Feb 2009 Philippians 2:3 DO nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Father, we pray for our youth today. We pray that You would discipline them. Father, we pray that in this lifetime You would show them what is ahead of them. The challenges, the blessings, and the struggles. Father, we pray right now that You would break the lazy mentality, or choosing the easier path in life. Lord, we speak to their hearts right now. We pray that You would soften their hearts that they may obey You. We pray for nothing less than God best. We pray that You would work on our character. Help us to not grow comfortable. Father, thank you for the generations of marriages that have fought the struggles, trials and tests. Lord, we pray right now that You would pour Your blessings and anointing on them. Right now we declare this season a season of bearing fruit. We pray for spiritual growth. We pray for strong family unity, the ability to work on conflict and resolving long drawn out issues of unforgiveness. Lord, we speak right now to broken hearts. May they find comfort in You. Help us never to give up on You, on our spouse, and on our family. What God has brought together let no man separate. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
