Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 7 Feb 2009 Psalm 56:3-4 When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

#122 Maldives Father, thank you for this nation. Thank you for creating these beautiful islands. Today, we pray that You would continue to raise up generations of hospitable people from this nation that will be able to humble and teach other countries what love is like. Today, we place our trust in You father. These islands are constantly battling economic sustainability. However, let it be known today that You provide economic sustainability. Not man, not other nations, You O Lord. Finally, we pray for Your people. Lord bless their hands. Bless their future, guide them, speak to them, and show them the way, the truth, and the life. Father, thank you that You are a faithful God that is never wavering. Your Words stands true from the beginning till the end. Father, we ask for forgiveness where we have fallen short of the mark. We fall short constantly, when we go on living without ever caring about the poor. We pray today that our prayers and words would be like songs of praises to You. Father, we pray that You would pave the way for us to help the poor in every nation. Lord, there are many who are doing their part, and we pray right now that You would richly reward them back. Let this reward be more than money, something that money cannot buy. In Jesus name we pray amen.
