Prayers for the youth and marriages – 10 Feb 2009 Philippians 2:3 DO nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Lord, we pray right now that our youths would work on building their foundations. We pray that they would grow strong roots. Let every root be a pillar in their lives. We pray for strong convictions. Lord, we ask for forgiveness right now where we have been complacent with our convictions. We pray that we would rebuild our convictions and values. By doing this Lord, we know that You would bless us, and bless our future when we become parents. We pray that our youths would be examples of Christ’s children. Many are currently lost and have no direction. However, the Lord is knocking at the door of ever heart. Lord, we pray that they would open the door because they are tired of the lives that they are living without You leading. Lord, let this be their year! As we head closer to valentines, we pray right now that couples would not make valentines a one year event of showing love towards their spouse. Father, with You leading and guiding, love is not a yearly affair, but a daily commitment. Lord, we pray that husbands and wives would be reminded today about their vows they made. The Word of God stands firm today and tomorrow. Two shall become one. Let man not separate what God has brought together. In the name of Jesus, open our eyes right now Lord, that we may begin to see the areas in our relationship that we need to work on and improve. Lord Jesus, thank you for everything. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
