Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 9 Feb 2009 Psalm 56:3-4 When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

#124 Malta Lord, thank you for this nation. We pray right now for its people. Lord, we pray that You would continue to use this nation in ways that would humble the wise, the rich, and the poor. Lord, we pray that You would use this nation as a fountain of overflowing water. We pray that Malta would stand on the Lord’s righteousness. We pray that every single child born from this nation would take ownership and not waver on his/her foundations. Today, we pray that the Lord would be foundation of Malta. Thank you for the purposes and plans that are far greater, far higher, and far better than anything that we do with our own human desires. Lord, as the world continues to try to solve poverty, over population, and starvation, out of human capability we will fail. However, doing something is better than doing nothing. Today, we pray that You would humble our hearts. We pray that every organization focused on the poor would work together and not against each other. WE pray that the world will be a different place today, because of You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
