Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 23 Oct 2008

Doing things God’s way – There is no other God Isaiah 44:6 I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God. And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me, since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come, let them show these to them. In times of worry, fear, and uncertainty, just like the current economic crisis there is only one thing that is certain, truth, and unchangeable-There is no other God. Some people place their trust in money. Their aim and goal in life is wealth. I pray for these people right now. The vision that God gives me is of many families right now in anger, strife, and bitterness, because of bad investments. If this sounds like your home, it is time we start doing things God’s way and place God CENTRE OF OUR HOMES. On the other hand there are many homes that are centred on God. I pray that we would treasure this and never neglect our Lord as the centre and most important foundation in our families. Why? It is easy to take God for granted. It is easy to get jealous. It is easy to compare wealth, and feel that following God means I’ll be in lack. God’s Words are clear.
