Prayers for the youth and marriages – 19 Oct 2008

Father, for every child today that does not know your name, we pray that you would bless and protect this child. God we pray for your loving hand to touch these children. In your time O Lord, we pray that every child would get an opportunity to see you, find you, and experience a personal relationship with You O Lord. Father, for every child today that knows you. Thank you for these children. We pray that they would never compromise and take you for granted. Instead, we pray that they would continue to build and work on their relationship with you. One day they will be used mightily because they chose today to run after you and not the things of this world. Lord, guide your children and bless your children. In Jesus name we pray, amen. We lift up every marriage to you right now O Lord. We pray for strength, we pray for love, and we pray for good communication. Father we pray that you would protect the eyes of every husband. In Their work place, on the bus, on the street, we pray that we would guard our eyes. We pray for every women, Lord help them find security and comfort in Your word and love O Lord. May they depend on the counsel of their husband’s and not in other men. God, as the world defines what marriage should be like, we pray that Your definition would standout amongst the many. Just as wooden idols are just idols, so is the world’s definition of marriage. Jesus we thank you and praise your name always. Amen. Joshua 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
