Prayers for the youth and marriages – 21 Oct 2008

Father we pray for Your perfect will to be done right now in the life of every youth. Isaiah 29:16 Surely you have things turned around! Shall the potter be esteemed as the clay; For shall the thing made say of him who made it, “He did not make me”? Or shall the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding”? Father, we pray for our hearts to be humbled, teachable, help our youth to be clay willing and wanting to be moulded by You. For every stubborn child, we pray that You O Lord would speak and pierce their hearts where it hurts. Open their eyes and help them recognize how much we need You EVERYDAY. Father, we pray for greater faith and trust right now in every marriage. In order to understand the meaning of trust, we must first trust You. Where we lack in faith and trust help us to turn to the Word for strength and guidance. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. Father, we pray that your hand of love and tenderness would comfort every marriage right now. Especially for those marriages that have been hit and faced with a lot of trials and tribulations. God you are bigger and greater than our trials. Help us Lord to love you with all our hearts, souls, and mind. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
