Doing Things God’s Way-Inheritance Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous. Proverbs 20:21 An inheritance quickly gained at the beginning will not be blessed at the end. When we talk about leaving an inheritance for our children, I hope that we realize it is more than just money that we are leaving behind. We are leaving a legacy. Proverbs 22:1 A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. In all our challenges in life, buying a home, career, income, I hope that we don’t miss out the true value in life. Money cannot buy your child’s first words. Money cannot buy love. Money cannot buy much. How would you want your children to remember you by? What would they say of you when you are no longer on earth? © 2008 Shaun Lee. www.everynation.org.sg archive: www.shauntzen.blogspot.com |
