Prayers for the youth and marriages – 16 Oct 2008

Deuteronomy 8:6-9 Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and revering him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land-a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills; a land with wheat and barley, vines and gif trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. Where is your faith today? You are a son of God. You are a daughter of God. You have been moulded and created by God. The Lord is our God, whom shall we fear? Fear not says the Lord. As we pray, I see many youths afraid of their future. Afraid of the unknown. But today O Lord, we pray for each and every youth. Rise up, take ownership of your destiny, and declare the promises of God in your life. Declare Deuteronomy 8:6-9 in your life. God is bringing us to a good land, we will lack nothing, and He will bless us. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2008 Shaun Lee

Genesis 1:22 God blessed them and said, Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth. The Lord is going to bless marriages today. Right now we pray that marriages will bear fruit. The promises of our Lord never return void. The Lord is going to increase and multiply. Barren we may be, but are we going to give up? We pray for greater faith today O Lord. We pray for more visions, humility, and trust. Give us visions of our children O Lord. We pray in advance that they will be sons and daughters that will give their lives to You Lord. Father, help us to be hungry and thirsty for the right things. The things of You. Forgive us, humble our pride, tame our anger and bitterness. Help us see things through your eyes. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
