Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 20 Oct 2008

Doing Things God's Way-Quiet confidence in a global financial crisis The root of all of the problems in the global financial markets stems from one rotten seed. Investments made through bad loans, bad credit, and making them look like “good” loans. Today, God is offering us an investment that promises 100% profit during good times and bad times. As I breakdown Isaiah 32:17-20, I know that God is going to rebuild our confidence during times of turmoil, if we chose to do things God’s way. Isaiah 32:17-20 The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever. My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest. Though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely, how blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream, and letting your cattle and donkeys range free. #1 Be righteous. God’s Word says, The fruit of righteousness will be peace. Peace is worth more than money. How many of us can say we have peace in our lives, we have peace in the investments we have made, because we are doing things God’s way? #2 Quietness and confidence forever. Be righteous and we will gain quietness and confidence forever. Imagine being confident through an economic crisis. While many are worried, threatened, and not at peace-those that are righteous will sit quietly in confidence forever. What a powerful vision. #3 Our homes will be peaceful, secure, undisturbed. Do things God’s way, be righteous in everything, and God will bless our homes with peacefulness. Dissension removed, arguments, quarrelling gone, and anger minimized. Our families will be safe and undisturbed. Why? Because we chose to do things God’s way. #4 The enemy may flatten the forest and the city is leveled completely, HOW BLESSED YOU WILL BE. The enemy may throw everything at us, forest may even be flattened, cities leveled because of the financial crisis, but the righteous man and woman will be blessed by God. #5 Sowing your seed by every stream, and your cattle and donkeys range free. The righteous will continue to sow and reap. What seeds are you sowing right now? Be righteous and God will bless your destiny and purpose (seeds that we sow). The seeds from the work of your hands. Your investments (Cattle and donkeys) will range freely and will be blessed.
