Prayers for the youth and marriages – 27 Oct 2008 Psalm 128:2 You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.

Lord we claim this verse over the youth if this generation and the generations to come. We pray for diligent hands. Hands that will be used effectively for the Kingdom of God. We pray against hands that will go to waste because of laziness and addiction to computer games. Father, we pray against shortcuts in life. We pray that your children would desire hard work, giving their best, and aiming high. Not because of good results, not because they want to make money, but because they want to be used by You Lord. We thank you for the discipline that is going to take place right now. We pray that firm foundations will be built right now in every youth. We praise and lift your name on high. Father we thank you for the gift of responsibility right now for every husband/father and for every wife/mother. We claim this verse for every marriage right now. It is through the fruit of our labor that we will eat, be blessed prosper. We pray against laziness, small thinking, small desires, and the feeling of being weak. In the name of Jesus we pray for greater revelation of your purpose and plans. In this lifetime we pray that couples throughout the world would rise up and transform lives of others so that they too can find a relationship with God. Father, you have such great plans and we pray that marriages today would not feel dead, but would feel lively because of You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
