Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 1 Jan 2009

You are made complete. Stop the inward focus and start praying blessings over the lives of others. As we usher in 2009, it seems as though 2008 came and went with a blink of an eye. I pray that this new year will be different from years past because God is reigning in every aspect of our lives. If God is always first in our lives, that sense of completeness will never waver or fade away. Whether or not we like our lives, we have been made complete. So if we have been made complete, this means that even people we don’t like have been made complete as well. Instead of cursing others, gossiping about others, and putting down others, let 2009 be a year of blessings. People may say bad things about us, drivers may cut us off on the road, but we will just bless. I pray that the world will be a different place, because we chose to bless instead of curse.
