Prayers for the youth and marriages – 21 Dec 2008 Psalm 51:16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; You do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.

Father, we pray that You would ingrain in each and every youth today the power and meaning of sacrifice. There is a difference between sacrificing because we are told to do so, and sacrificing because we know that God is saying so. We pray that every child of yours would turn to You always. As they continue to grow and mature, we pray that the stress of the world, the chasing of false dreams would open their eyes. Lord, we pray that a great destiny would speak to their hearts. Lord, we thank you for every marriage right now. Today, we pray that marriages would be built upon the right foundations. Foundations that will not fall, will not weaken when the storms of life come. Help us all, help us recognize that foundations built in the Lord is precious. Many think that there marriages will not fall apart because of rituals. Help us O Lord, open our eyes today. Lord, every marriage is precious in your sight. Help us be faithful today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
