Prayers for the youth and marriages – 14 Dec 2008 Proverbs 22:1 A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

Lord we pray for every youth right now. We pray that they would understand this verse and the meaning of this verse. Help us realize that we carry our family name. The good and the bad. And more importantly Your Word says a good name is more desirable than great riches. Today, we pray that we would wake up. Stop and ask ourselves, are we carrying a good name? For every child taking drugs, smoking, failing, lazy, rebellious, help us O God. Help us throw off all the garbage that hinders us from fully walking with You. Father, for every marriage that is falling apart. Let this verse be ingrained in our hearts. What kind of name are we leaving behind for our children and generations to come? Where we have developed bad habits and grown mold in our hearts, we pray right now that You would remove them. Right now O God we desire to change. We desire to walk with You 100%. No more games, no more shortcuts, we are fully surrendered to You O God. We praise and lift Your name on high. Jesus You reign and You rule. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
