Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 3 Dec 2008

#64 El Salvador Father, we thank you for the nation of El Salvador. Lord, we pray that You would continue to protect and minister to this nation. This nation is filled with numerous hidden treasures, and we pray right now that You would use every hidden treasure to magnify Your name. Through your people, through the poor, through this nations unity, through its culture, but most of all through its love for the Lord; the world will recognize that there is no other God, then our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray for hope. We pray for patience. We pray for eyes to be open today O Lord. In the name of Jesus we pray that dry and weak bones would be strengthened, never to give up. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Psalm 103:15 The nations will fear the name of the Lord, all the kings of the earth will revere your glory. © 2008 Shaun Lee

O Lord, we thank You that You are in control. We thank you that You love every child equally. Today, we seek You that our hearts may be humbled to love the poor just as you love us. In the name of Jesus we pray that we would teach our children how to love and treat people with dignity. We pray against social arrogance. We are all created in Your image and that is all that matters. For every proud and arrogant race, we pray that You would humble them today. Show them what it feels like to be at the end of the other spectrum. You are righteous. You are fair. You define and dictate. Where we have been arrogant today, we pray for forgiveness. In your holy name, amen.
