Prayers for the youth and marriages – 5 Dec 2008

Deut 4:23 Be careful not to forget the covenant of the Lord your God that he made with you; do not make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything the Lord your God has forbidden. Father, we pray that your children would continue to treasure their covenant with You Lord. We pray that they would not take their relationship with You for granted. Father, we pray for strength and endurance to run the race without getting distracted. Father, idolatry is a distraction. We pray right now that You would cleanse our minds, hearts, and souls of all the idols in our lives. In Jesus name we pray, Amen. © 2008 Shaun Lee

Psalm 55:22 Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall. The Lord’s promises never come back to us void. Right now we claim this promise over every marriage in this world Lord. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would never let us fall even in this hour, even in this current crisis. God, many families are going through internal crisis, right now we pray that couples would stand on righteousness versus taking things into their own hands. God, you are our redeemer and deliverer. Protect every single marriage right now. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
