Prayers for the youth and marriages – 30 Dec 2008

Lord Jesus, we pray right now that every youth would turn their hearts towards You. We pray that they would stop fighting You. We pray for peace in their hearts. O Lord, where we have been complacent with teaching and nurturing our children we ask for forgiveness. Today, we pray that You would raise a generation of educators, teachers, and men/women who are strong in the Word. O Lord, this is the hour. We praise and honor You always. Thank you for every marriage. We pray right now that You would be the guide, light, and comfort to every marriage. For many marriages I sense that 2008 was a tough year. But we focus our prayers for 2009 and praise that it will be a year of miracles. We pray that marriages would begin to praise and honor You Lord. Father, You are in control. We surrender our marriages to You today. Help us Father. Help us see our blind spots. Help us to remove our stubborn ways so that we can love more and more. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
