Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 21 Dec 2008

There is power in sacrifice As I conclude my series on sacrifice, I pray that today’s message would leave a lasting imprint in our hearts about sacrificing. From the smallest of sacrifices to the biggest, God blesses those that give without expecting anything back in return. Today, what is God saying to you? Maybe we have devoted too much time at work and not enough with our family. Maybe God is saying to spend more time with your aging parents. Maybe God is saying to help the poor this Christmas and to faithfully help them in the years to come. These sacrifices will bring forth blessings to the next generation and generations to come. I cannot stress this point enough: There is power in sacrifice. God wants to bless us abundantly, but in order for that to happen we must sacrifice. Let us not wait any longer. Why are we holding back from being that blessing.
