Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 8 Dec 2008

#70 Finland Lord, thank you for the peace, prosperity, and fruitfulness that this nation has. God, today we pray that You would continue to open the eyes of your people that they may begin to see how they can be used by You in ways that are more fulfilling than just material satisfaction. Lord, as the world continues to suffer from the economic crisis and food shortages, we pray right now that the King of all kings would shine. Shine over the nation of Finland, because Your sons and daughters are obedient to Your voice. As the wind blows, as the earth shakes, as the world is in turmoil, Father, in the still and silent voice You are there. Jesus, today we need You. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Acts 22:14, “The God of our fathers has chosen you to know His will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from His mouth. You will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on His name.” © 2008 Shaun Lee

Psalm 9:13 O Lord, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death. Father, right now we pray for the poor. Help us to never give up praying for them. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would bring healing, bring protection, and bring Your hand of glory on every person who is suffering. God, today we declare that by Your mercy You will lift up those who are starving from the gates of death. May these, Your precious children know You. We pray that they would recognize Your voice, and begin to show the world the glory of the Lord that is far greater than any nation, any person, and any king. You are the King of kings and we bow before You today and forever. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
