Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 26 Dec 2008

He is the God above all gods Today, I sense that there are still many of us who are walking with fear, but it is not with the fear of the Lord. We think we got everything under control. We think we have taken every step, every measure forward with our relationship with God. But God is crying out to us to stop trying. Surrendering is what we need to do, and it is daily! Surrender everything to God. Surrendering is true worship and praise to God. God is above all gods. There is only one that we surrender to and I hope we are doing that daily. Have we ever wondered why we do not see the miracles in the Bible performed today? In my opinion, it is because we have become complacent. Life is good. We have money, food, enough, no worries, there is peace and prosperity. Surrendering and the meaning of surrendering does not mean much anymore. Our lives may not be in danger right now, but we may be in danger of losing what means most in life, our relationship with God.
