Prayers for the youth and marriages – 2 Dec2008

Father, where we have failed to disciple and mentor the youth, we pray for Your forgiveness O Lord. Teach us O Lord, humble us all O Lord. Where we have neglected to discipline, to pray for, to ingrain the Word of God in every child, we have failed. Today, we pray for action. We pray that our actions would speak louder then our mouths. Today, we pray that we would be living testimonies for the future, not because of wealth, success, or power. But because we chose to disciple the youth which will leave a legacy that is priceless. Today, we pray for every marriage that continues to walk with a blind eye. We pray against the, “close-one-eye philosophy”. In the name of Jesus, we pray that every marriage would be based on communication and dealing with issues right then and there. No more hidden agendas, no more gossiping, no more shutting one eye to not deal with issues. Father, we pray for transformed marriages. We cannot fake love. If we fake love towards our spouses today, we are faking our love towards You. If we are doing this right now, we pray against it. We pray right now for convicted hearts. Amen.
