Prayers for the youth and marriages – 28 Dec 2008

Father, as the sun rises and sets each day, it is by faith that we live knowing that it will rise again the very next day. O Lord, we pray right now that You would instill in every child a deeper meaning and understanding of what faith is. Lord, right now I sense the suffering and pain that the youth are facing right now. False expectations from their parents. The fear of failure. The loneliness in the midst of the chaos. Father, like we pray that You would send your thunder right now, to shake, to awaken, and force us into action. We need You and that is all we need. In Jesus name, amen. © 2008 Lee Shaun Tzen

Father, it is a blessing to see marriages around us that have lasted more than 15 years. Father, it is our prayer today that marriages throughout the world would only grow stronger and stronger each year. Despite the wrinkles, flaws, our love is only going to grow stronger. Father, we pray for faithful husbands/wives that are obedient to You O Lord. We pray by faith that husbands would take the mantel of leadership and not be complacent. O Lord, cripple us. Wound us so that we would wake up and stop neglecting our marriage. O Lord we need you every day. In Your name, amen.
