Prayers for the youth and marriages – 4 Dec 2008

Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. O Lord, thank you for every youth created. Thank you that You love them. Thank you that You are God and no one else is. We pray that this verse would minister to every youth that doubts You. God we pray that Your children would be hungry and thirsty to seek for the things that You have given to them. We pray that they would be excited to knock on Your door. For too long have we been dormant and inactive Lord. Too long have we been wasting time away neglecting the importance of discipleship. In the name of Jesus we pray that the breathe of the Lord would be enough to awaken us and steer us to disciple every child. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Father, as the world continues to economic erode, we pray that worry and concern would never be entertained. God, for every marriage that is grounded in You, we hold to your promises Father. Help us not to forget, and I pray that You would shake us till we are woken up. GOD’S PROMISES ARE FAR GREATER THAN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. In the name of Jesus we pray for no more worry. In the name of Jesus You are all we need. Help us recognize this Lord.
