Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 19 Dec 2008

There is power in sacrifice Are our prayers everyday focused on “us?” Today I hope that we will recognize that there is power in sacrificing our prayer needs for others. There may be someone who is ill, that needs prayer. There may be someone who lost their job. The problems and issues in life create one of the tallest mountains in the world. However, we can flatten this mountain today. Matthew 17:20 I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Are we willing to sacrifice our needs for others? It is time we become men and women of action. Today, I pray that everyone reading this would receive a blessing from God. Those that need a healing touch would receive it right now. Those that need an answer for direction, God says submit and surrender everything to God, and He will make our paths straight. Those that are waiting for God’s blessings, God is our provider, He satisfies. Let us pray and never stop praying. Matthew 21:13 My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of robbers.
