Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 25 Dec 2008

He is the God above all gods Merry Christmas! Today’s words of encouragement are about: the spirit of not giving up. Some of us may be praying for people to have a deep and personal relationship with God. Some have prayed for 30 years, some even more and some less. Time does not matter. We must function and act on God’s time not on our own clock and agenda. We just have to be attentive to God’s prompting. Don’t give up! I am continuously humbled by God. By faith I have been praying for my family for over 20 years now, sometimes I get upset at the setbacks, sometimes I’m surprised by how fast God moves, but no matter what I know that my God is faithful, just, and His ways are higher than mine. God’s power is seen throughout history. Common men like you and me, doing amazing things to show people that God is above all gods. Today, if our God is not the same, yesterday and today, then we can count everything written in the Bible as false. Are we a generation that has fallen asleep? God is steering and moving right now, I just hope we haven’t already given up.
