Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 22 Dec 2008

Against terrorism Father, as we head closer and closer to the Christmas holidays we pray right now that Your loving hand would be upon every nation. Father, Your will be done and not ours. But we still pray that You would protect every nation. By Your power and might, we pray that any acts of terrorism would fall apart. May their weapons be useless, we pray that You would make them like fools, as You expose their plans. God, the enemy is no match for You. Just as Gideon fought with just the breaking of pots that caused confusion we pray that in this lifetime You O Lord would do the same. We pray for the fear of the Lord today, and not fear of evil men. In Jesus name we pray, amen. 2 Samuel 22:18 He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. Father, today we pray that you would give strength to the weak. Give courage to the fearful. Shelter the unsheltered. Feed the hungry, and protect the unprotected. It is You O Lord that must be feared. It was You who freed us from bondage and slavery. It was You who sacrificed, to set us free from sin. Father, we do not deserve anything yet You love us all unconditionally. O Lord, forgive us. Forgive our blind eyes. God today, watch over every poor person. We pray for Your protection today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
