Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 6 Dec 2008

#68 Ethiopia Father, we lift up the nation of Ethiopia to You today. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would bring showers of blessings upon this nation. As this country continues to struggle through famine and suffering, we pray right now that the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ would shine upon each and every child that You call by name. Father, we pray for food. We pray for shelter. We pray for clean water. However, let this day be clear that only the Lord Jesus Christ can provide and bring change. No man, no human, no one is greater than He. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Acts 22:14, “The God of our fathers has chosen you to know His will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from His mouth. You will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on His name.” © 2008 Shaun Lee

Psalm 68:10 Your people settled in it, and from your bounty, O God, you provided for the poor. Heavenly Father, we pray specifically for every nation that has seen the number of poor, malnourished, and starving people increase. God today, we pray against selfishness. Today O God, we pray for unity to take place. May the rich nations begin to bless without ever expecting anything back in return. In the name of Jesus we pray that You would provide! Provide for all your children. However, we pray that through this everyone throughout the world will be able to recognize that You are the Lord and there is no other. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
