Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 23 Dec 2008

He is the God above all Gods In history and in this lifetime one thing still remains, no man is above God and no man should ever be treated above God. The rich, the famous, politicians, the glamorous lifestyle. People are just people. Today, it is time we examine our hearts. If you are a pastor, God has a specific word for you today. It is time for a self-check. Are you any different from the Priest that killed Jesus? They were after money. They were after high places in society. Jesus is the God above all Gods, no matter how anointed of a speaker you may be, no matter how “spiritual” you may be, you are still human. God sees everything that is unrighteous. He knows the cheater (Acts 5:1-10). God wants to restore us all today. He wants to remind us all that He used ordinary, UNSCHOOLED men to reveal His works. Why are we chasing after false titles, degrees, and fortunes? Are we measuring our lives by worldly standards? By worldly standards Peter and John would have been considered a waste of a life. But how does Jesus see them? John 1:16 From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another.
