Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 7 Dec 2008

The fear of the Lord As I end my series on the fear of the Lord, I believe that God’s message to us all is very clear, start fearing Him and stop fearing everything else. Where do you place your trust in? God provides and God satisfies. Stop fearing the world, stop fearing man, and stop fearing the devil. Start building security in God, and stop falling short because of fear. God cares so much about us. The God of yesterday, today, and tomorrow are the same. It is time we start being serious with God. Moving forward is what God is after. To fear God allows us to move forward. We need to stop living in the past to take the steps forward, but in order to do this we need to heal the past. I believe that many of us are still living in our past. The hurt, pain, sins, bitterness at God, and most of all shame. The God of yesterday, today, and tomorrow is the same.
