Praying For The Nations and for the poor – 15 Dec 2008

#76 Germany Thank you Lord for the nation of Germany. Today the World is going to be a different place because of what this nation is going to offer. Right now we pray for every single person from this nation. We pray that the gift of humility would be poured on them. In our life time we pray that generations of sons and daughters who follow Your ways would stand before the world and humble the arrogant and proud. It is through Your children that You love so dearly that many of the poorest nations will be blessed. However, we have become too focused on our own needs and desires. We have forgotten our second birth. We have taken You for granted. Today, we pray for change. We pray, that we would draw our eyes back towards You. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Isaiah 56:1 This is what the Lord says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed. Lord, we pray that every single child of Yours that is in desperation and in need will continue to maintain justice and do what is right. We also pray that the rich and political leaders would maintain justice and do what is right. We pray for greater change to take place in 2009. We pray that the meaning of leadership would be redefined. Defined by You. We pray that Nations would pool their financial resources together and help allocate a portion of that to help rebuild nations that are starving to death. God, You are in control. You have a plan and purpose. Help us to hear You daily. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
