Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 10 Apr 2008

Maybe sacrificing a career choice, getting less pay, working less hours, and traveling less, is worth more to your family than having millions of dollars in your bank account? What we don’t realize is that, something has to be sacrificed in order for those millions of dollars to be tangible. Where do your children fit into your grand plan? I don’t know if you remember but we only have 86,400 seconds in one day. 31,536,000 seconds in a year. Before you know it, your children will be 30 years old and doing their own thing. Today’s word of encouragement is about Sacrifice. Sometimes our careers, our time spent at work needs to be sacrificed for our children’s’ needs. Yes, I know that you have sacrificed a lot already for your children, and they should understand that. Jesus was the ultimate definition of sacrifice. He sacrificed His life for you and me, for all our sins. What did it cost us? Nothing! All we have to do is believe. Today, you maybe chasing after that dream job, starting your own company, earning millions, getting that sports car you’ve dreamed of; whatever it is, just remember what Jesus did for us all.
