Praying For Pakistan and for the poor – 6 Mar 2009 1 Chronicles 16:10 Glory is His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

Father, thank you for the nation of Pakistan. Father, as we faithfully pray for this nation we pray that our prayers would be heard and answered. However, we declare Your will be done and not ours. Help us hear You clearly O Lord. Help us to pray things into being, so that whatever is not pleasing in Your eyes will be removed. Lord, it saddens my heart that the value of life is of no value at times. We pray against evil. We pray against all that goes on in this nation that is not pleasing in your sight. Father, we pray that You would protect and watch over your children. We pray that righteousness would be established today. We pray that purity would be the foundation of this nation. We pray that the future of this nation would rest on those that are Your humble servants. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Lord Jesus, we pray for the poor and needy today. We pray that You would bring meaning and value to their existence. Though people may judge, put down, and condemn. You O Lord, see the beauty and gift in each of us. Today, we pray that we would be able to see the value and worth in people, just as You do Father. We pray that we would be able to pray for the poor. Father we pray that we would be able to give of our time, money, and prayers to helping the poor and needy have a better life. But most of all Father, we pray that the poor will be able to have a deep and meaningful relationship with You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
