Prayers for the youth and marriages – 25 Mar 2009 2 Samuel 22:29 You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light

We pray right now for our youth. Lord we pray that You would guide them every step of the way. We pray that they would establish a strong relationship with You. We pray that parents would recognise the importance in teaching, building, and laying strong foundations in the hearts of our children. We pray that our children would desire to change. To be transformed. To recognise their value and worth in You. We pray that they would remove all pride and arrogance. We pray that Our children would be ready to take the rebuke and correction that is necessary. Lord, change in taking place, and we pray that our children would be apart of that change. Father, thank You O Lord for every marriage. We pray right now that we would be devoted to our husbands and wives. We pray that we would be willing to work through our differences. We pray that we would be able to deal with issues that have been bottled up. Father, we pray that wives would be able to control their temper, emotions and comparisons. We pray that they would be grounded in the Word of God and in You. You define us, not the world. We pray that You would protect the eyes of every husband. Protect their hearts, we pray that they would not hide their sins, but be able to deal with their issues. Lord, nothing goes hidden from Your sight. In Jesus we pray, amen.
